Part-Time Finance Assistant

This is a permanent, part-time Finance Assistant/Bookkeeper role reporting directly into the Finance Manager. The commitment is 2-3 days per week. The hours are largely flexible but the ability to commit to dedicated days around the busy period at month end would be advantageous.

The Role

  • Accounts receivable – raising sales invoices and reviewing client queries
  • Credit control – including chasing aged debt, sending regular client statements
  • Accounts payable – managing the purchase ledger, including full payment runs
  • Reconciliations – including several bank accounts and company credit cards
  • Management of expenses and petty cash
  • Assisting the office manager with purchasing and ensuring company policy is adhered to
  • Assisting with any other ad hoc duties as required

The Person

  • Experience within accounts and attention to detail is essential
  • IT literate and comfortable using a variety of systems (training provided)
  • Must be able to demonstrate competency with Excel (Google Suite is also used frequently)
  • Working VAT knowledge is desirable
  • Experience working at an agency would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Good communication skills – you’ll be liaising with people of all levels within the business
  • Hardworking and a proactive attitude
  • Ideally AAT qualified, or studying at Level 4 (study support available for the right candidate after probation period)

Full-Time Sales Administrator

This role provides administrative support to the Client Services and New Business teams. It would suit someone with some previous administration experience and a keen eye for detail.

You’ll be responsible for supporting the Client Services and New Business teams in the smooth running of client accounts and supporting the winning of new clients. You’ll benefit from the support and guidance of a team who’ve helped Manifesto grow from a three-person agency to a 50-person agency over the last six years.

The Role

  • Managing the new business pipeline
  • Responding to incoming sales requests
  • Updating our CRM system with potential projects
  • Helping ensure contracts and statements of work are in place for all work
  • Assisting with estimates and written proposals
  • Supporting Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions
  • Helping the team build pitch presentations
  • Innovate and improve tools, systems and processes
  • Supporting the teams with a variety of day to day tasks

  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident articulating your point of view
  • Personable and able to work with a variety of people
  • Great time management
  • Effective communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to multitask
  • Flexible with a love of problem solving
  • Proactive and resourceful
