Making Agile work for you – Workshops

Wednesday 29 August 2018 from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Join us on Wednesday 29th August, 6:30-9pm at the Manifesto studio in Shoreditch where this summer session of Agile for Agencies will have three interactive workshops for members to participate in.
The workshops
Agile Contracts – with Simon Bates, COO of Manifesto
Simon will take you through a practical and logical approach to writing and agreeing on simple agile contracts with your clients, including examples and best ways to get you started on your own templates.
Estimating as a team – with Joanne Ralfe, Operations Director at LIDA
Joanne will take you through estimation techniques, with a particular focus on user story size discussion, and how planning poker can be a fun way to estimate.
User Story Writing – with Guillaume Buat-Ménard, CEO of Aqueduct
User stories are the bedrock of agile backlogs, and not always easy to write. Guillaume will give you some practical tips on how to write good user stories that can be understood by everyone (including the client).
As always there will be opportunities for questions and time to chat over a beer. We look forward to seeing you!
Who is it for?
This Meetup is aimed at people who work in or with agencies of all kinds, from traditional to specialist, creative to tech, in project management, software development or business management roles and are seeking to exchange working experience, tips and general thoughts on how best to create a brand of Agile that works for them, their organisation and their clients.
