Musicians with websites on Drupal – a Spotify playlist

We’re big fans of Drupal. The open-source content management system is growing rapidly in popularity due to its flexibility, power and the simplified experience it offers to content editors. In addition, the Acquia Cloud hosting platform provides the kind of security and performance neccessary for running some of the world’s most important sites.

This estimate from 2010 put the number of Drupal websites at around 7 million. No doubt that number is much, much higher today.

A lot of those sites belong to recording artists and so, as a celebration of the world’s fastest growing open source CMS we’ve put together this Spotify playlist where every song features an artist whose website is built on Drupal.

We have the pleasure of working on paulmccartney.com but there’s plenty more to listen to…

After all, she is the ONLY one on the list to have made a contribution to open source as a result of her musical activities.
