Stand Up To Cancer is a campaign from Cancer Research UK, Channel 4 and the Entertainment Industry Foundation which raises money for translational cancer research through organised fundraising activities and a night of live television in October.

What we did

Manifesto was technical lead for the first year of Stand Up To Cancer including collaborating to source all digital platforms. In year 2 we updated the Stand Up To Cancer Drupal website to provide an improved user experience, particularly for donations, to reflect a brand update and to capture supporter details.


How it went

In 2012 Stand Up to Cancer became the most successful charity fundraiser on UK commercial TV in its first year – ever. It raised over £8million and brought the fight against cancer to the forefront of the nation’s mind. In the second year Manifesto helped redevelop the Drupal site and delivered a holding page with a funky parallax scrolling effect.
